Global Quality Director

Including cable television, cellular telephone and data communication, storage, and information processing systems; aerospace and military electronics; and automotive, rail and other transportation and industrial applications.Position Summary:Global Quality DirectorLocation: Remote, NortheastWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Quality Director to lead our global quality organization. This candidate will drive quality excellence across all global production sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and internal specifications.Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of the quality management system across multiple manufacturing sites globallySet and drive global quality strategy to meet customer expectationsManage product and process quality to meet customer satisfaction metrics through formal continuous improvement programManage customer quality requirements through documentation review, process capability/control, and detailed inspection plansResponsible for presentation of business unit level quality metrics to corporate managementManage all quality related aspects of customer and supplier relationships, including management of both customer and supplier corrective action processesParticipate in customer audits / site visits to support local manufacturing teamsCommunicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management, distilling complex technical information into clear, concise presentations to drive aligned decisions on quality issues and initiatives, and obtain buy-in from key stakeholdersQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline15+ years of progressive experience in quality operations working with a global teamKnowledge of cable manufacturing processes is preferredQuality management experience with strong leadership skillsWorking knowledge and proven leadership in continuous improvement activities and formal programsExperience working directly with customers and suppliersAbility to travel up to ~20%, or as situation arisesAmphenol Corporation is proud of our reputation as an excellent employer.
