Healthcare Associate - Policy & Investment Analyst

OverviewWashington, DC, USWe are in search of an associate with specialized expertise in healthcare policy. Associates are responsible for developing unique investment ideas based on rigorous policy analysis. They interact regularly with politicians, regulators and other policymakers, as well as investors across the US health care sector. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical skills, creativity, and a demonstrated interest in policy and financial markets. A successful candidate will be a highly qualified professional with at least two years of experience in consulting, investment banking, policy analysis, or a related field.QualificationsEducation and Experience Requirements:At least two years of experience in consulting, health care, policy analysis or a related field, ideally in the healthcare sectorHigh academic achievementStrong MS Excel and PowerPoint skillsMust be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorshipAdditional Qualifications:Intelligence and the ability to think creativelyThe ability to express differentiated opinions clearly and forcefully, supported by robust analysisStrong client servicing and interpersonal skillsThe ability to develop and discern high-quality, value-oriented investment ideasAbility to self-motivate and work independentlyPassion for combining policy and politics with investingCompensation and BenefitsCapstone offers a competitive benefits package, including health, vision, dental insurance, paid vacation, travel stipend and 401(k). The expected compensation for this role will be $75,000-$90,000 per annum with eligibility in Capstone's annual bonus pool.Location and ScheduleThis position is based in our Washington, DC office.
