OverviewThe Payroll Manager is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll. You will own the payroll process from end-to-end for multiple entities. The Payroll Manager will help develop process improvements to maintain accuracy, quality, and efficiency of the payroll process. Join us and enjoy the benefits of being on our team.Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401k (with a company match!) benefits, and morePerks: Enjoy free golf, discounts on resort retail and food & beverage, and more!A Balanced Life: Full-time team members are eligible for 2-weeks of PTO and holiday pay in their first yearTravel is good for the soul: Experience destinations around the country with team member hotel discountsGrowth: Opportunities for internal career growth and expansionCelebrate: Monthly team member gatherings, quarterly events, and the legendary Team Member Golf TournamentBe Part of the Magic: Trust us, seeing a first-time guest take in our Cascade views never gets oldSome benefits may vary based on job statusResponsibilitiesProcess, review and validate bi-weekly, multi-state payrolls (exempt & non-exempt), as well as off cycle payrolls for bonuses, and other payroll payments as neededReview timesheets for accuracy and follow up with employees and managers to ensure timely and complete timecard submissionsPerform prorated pay calculations for new hires and terminations ensuring compliance to regulatory requirementsCoordinate with HR on payroll related matters (i.e. title and pay changes, garnishments, etc).Oversee GL changes to ensure all payroll-related systems and vendors remain current and are accurately codedGenerate reports to track tips claimed by Associates, ensuring that tips are properly reported and paid in accordance with the Federal wage and tip requirementsPrepare month-end reconciliations of payroll balance sheet accounts and assist with fluctuation analysis related to payroll activityUnderstand proper taxation of employer and employee paid benefits and ensure proper processing through payroll (HSA, FSA, Medical, Dental, Vision, AD&D, Life insurance, Disability, 401(k), etc.)Ensure compliance with current government regulations and reporting requirementsResearch and resolve questions from employees and managers related to payroll information such as time off, retroactive pay calculations, tax questions, and other changesReconcile W-2 to ensure accurate entry of all compensation transactionsSupport annual audits and other cyclical internal auditsBuild-out processes and systems that ensure the payroll operations scale in quality, seamless mannerCollaborate with Finance colleagues and other individuals to support monthly forecast and annual budgetary analyses, and reporting needsSupport annual compensation review process, including compiling compensation information and updates to payroll system.Annually update all Workers/' Compensation rates in the payroll system and assist with the annual Workers Compensation auditGenerates Daily reports as needed and builds reports out of UKG and Hotel Effectiveness as required to support the needs of the businessPerform other duties as assigned and participate in projects as assigned by Accounting leadershipQualificationsMust be eligible to work in the United States3+ years’ experience handling payroll in a multi-state environmentExperience using UKG is preferredSolid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practicesProficient in MS Excel including utilization of VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulasExcellent problem-solving skills; analytical mindset with good judgmentHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyStrong written and oral communication skills, and effective interpersonal skills with different stakeholders and all levels of employeesSelf-starter: ability to work and prioritize with little directionMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressureExcellent organizational skills: ability to handle multiple priorities within deadlines is requiredAbility to deal sensitively with confidential materialBachelor/’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent field of study preferred, or equivalent experience#SuncadiaResort #J-18808-Ljbffr
