OverviewJob Title: Associate Director Technology IIJob Location: 3400 W Plano Pkwy, Plano, TX 75075 [Hybrid Position]ResponsibilitiesSupport quality assurance and test architecture responsibilities for major projects, validating critical customer flows in the online digital space. Design and implement test plans and strategies, write and execute test cases, identify and create defects and manage them through final resolution. Utilize test automation strategies to enhance test execution and coverage. Work with business stakeholders, development and architects across teams to identify high priority scenarios for end-to-end validation and coordinate the testing efforts. Analyze test results and metrics, prepare and present test status reports on a regular basis. Communicate progress proactively and regularly using available tools and strategies scheduled and ad hoc meetings, formal jeopardies, escalations, daily/weekly progress reports, and defect metrics collections. Engage with impacted teams throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle from project initiation to final production terview and select employees, maintain proper staffing levels, allocate resources, supervise team’s daily operations, identify areas for improvement, develop action plans, enforce Company policies, take disciplinary action, manage individual performance, merit increases, and promotions.Employ test planning, test case design and execution for large-scale projects within an integrated test environment requiring validation across multiple touchpoints including APIs, microservices, email/SMS communications, file feeds and UI components. Utilize SCRUM, Agile and DevOps methodologies. Employ automation tools for test execution. Utilize multi-tier web application architecture, micro-service technologies, DevOps model and on-prem/cloud integration. Leverage tooling for defect triaging and troubleshooting using Jira, Rally and HP-ALM.Supervise a team of twenty-two (22) employees, including roles such as Principal System Engineer(s), Lead System Engineers, Senior-System Engineers, Manager-Quality Assurance, Sr Associate Quality Assurance, Sr Specialist Quality Assurance, and Specialist Quality Assurance.RequirementsRequires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Engineering, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation employing test planning, test case design and execution for large-scale projects within an integrated test environment requiring validation across multiple touchpoints including APIs, microservices, email/SMS communications, file feeds and UI components; utilizing SCRUM, Agile, DevOps methodology; employing automation tools for test execution; utilizing multi-tier web application architecture, micro-service technologies, DevOps model and on-prem/cloud integration; and leveraging tooling for defect triaging and troubleshooting using Jira, Rally and pensation and BenefitsOur Associate Director Technology II earns between $214,240 - $261,100 yearly.
