The Associate Relationship Manager (ARM) will be a crucial member of our team, helping to meet the unique needs of high growth international Corporate Banking client relationships.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Relationship Managers in retaining and growing customer relationships, adhering to the Group values, business strategy, operational policies, regulatory requirements and risk management practicesTake responsibility for all aspects of New To Bank onboarding, internal and external relationship reviews, and ad hoc projects (e.g., sales pitches, product coordination, prospect research, sector analysis, client portfolio reporting)Be an integral part of the Corporate & Institutional Banking team to deliver holistic banking services, improve client engagement, maximize operational efficiency and optimize client engagementPrepare concise call reports, research and analyze client, industry and competitor financial and macro-economic data; participate in client due-diligence callsRepresent the bank at client meetings, introduce product partners, coordinate the application process, and work with internal stakeholders on credit or product onboarding processes, Know Your Customer updates and documentationQualificationsExperience in a Commercial Banking or client-focused environment with an understanding of commercial lending and credit risk assessment; solid underwriting/credit experienceExperience working in a global environment with international clientsExperience with company and market research using tools such as CapIQ, D&B, LinkedInBroad knowledge of Corporate Banking and Markets structures, products and servicesKnowledge of CRM systems and transaction structuring/profitability analysisBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or similarProven leadership skills including coaching, motivation and ownership of corporate goals in othersStrong verbal and written communications; collaborative team skills; strong analytical and financial abilitiesGood prioritizing, organizational and time management abilitiesEligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; HSBC will not sponsor visas for this positionIn addition, HSBC offers a competitive Total Reward Package, with fixed and variable pay, and a range of benefits designed to support health, finances and lifestyle.
