The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operational activities. This role involves managing various tasks, improving efficiency, and reducing costs as needed. The Director of Operations works closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and other executives to coordinate and align departmental operations and strategies.ResponsibilitiesLiaise with the COO to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goalsPlan and monitor the day-to-day running of the business to ensure smooth progressSupervise staff and provide constructive feedbackEvaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvementsOversee internal support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfactionEvaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics, and provide regular reporting to key stakeholdersEnsure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulationsEnsure processing of daily work including SAR review and transmission, FI file processing, and third-party data connectionsOversee and administer Azure Cloud resources, including basic app service, network security group, and key vault configurationEnsure SOC requirements are met and participate in the annual SOC auditContribute as a member of the company's product owner's committees for client productsEstablish procedures for privileged access and manage user accessLead and mentor operations teamRefine and enforce operational policies and proceduresQualificationsProven experience as Director of Operations or equivalent positionExcellent organizational and leadership abilitiesAbility to construct SQL queries for standalone and PowerBI reportingOutstanding communication and people skillsKnowledge of banking rules and guidelines is a plusIn-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g., supply chain, finance, customer service, etc.)Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metricsFamiliarity with Microsoft 365 and various business softwareProven experience with Power BI or similar reporting toolsProven experience with Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence)Proven experience in Azure PortalWage RangeThe rate for this position is between $100,000 - $135,000 annually.
