Our client, a mission-driven and quality-focused food service provider, is expanding in the Western region and seeking a Director of Business Development to drive growth and build strategic partnerships in the education sector on the East Coast.If you are passionate about enhancing campus dining and delivering innovative food service solutions to higher education institutions, we encourage you to apply!Director Of Business Development ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute winning sales strategies to achieve and exceed growth targets.Maintain a 3-year prospecting pipeline by leveraging CRM tools to track viable leads.Analyze RFPs/RFIs to ensure financial feasibility and business alignment.Craft compelling proposals and presentations for prospective clients.Conduct in-depth research to refine and enhance the sales process.Attend client meetings, build strong relationships, and drive long-term partnerships.Director Of Business Development Requirements5+ years of consultative sales experience, with at least 3 years in contract food service for Higher Education institutions.A passion for people-first customer service and relationship management.Strong financial acumen, including experience developing proformas and analyzing RFPs/RFIs.A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.Self-motivated, creative problem-solver with excellent communication skills.Director Of Business Development BenefitsCompetitive base salary + commissionsComprehensive benefits packageA world-class, mission-driven company cultureRemote position with travelAt Goodwin Recruiting, we are committed to our core values and providing world class customer service.
