This role requires deep expertise in Google Cloud, coupled with strong client-facing and presales skills.This individual will be responsible for identifying opportunities, crafting service solutions, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful outcomes.This position is a remote position with Home Office setup as determined by SHI management.Role DescriptionDesign, develop, and position services-focused solutions for public and hybrid cloud. (primarily Google Cloud)Collaborate with sales teams to identify client challenges and align services to meet their needsLead workshops and discovery sessions to understand client objectives, assess environments, and recommend service solutionsDevelop service offerings that encompass implementation, migration, optimization, field, and managed servicesLead the development of SOWs, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client needs and business objectivesCreate compelling presentations and supporting materials that articulate the value of SHIs service solutionsStay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to refine and enhance service positioningAct as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on modern cloud strategies and service adoptionCollaborate with internal delivery and 3rd party services providers to bring the right delivery experts to engagements to ensure seamless and successful execution of servicesDrive revenue growth within the professional services team by identifying new opportunities and optimizing service offeringsEngage with SHI sales teams, including front line sellers and client success managers, to ensure a unified approach to service delivery and client engagementContribute to practice development by identifying areas for growth and leading innovation initiativesCreate and maintain practice standards and practices, ensuring the delivery of high-quality servicesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retentionProvide thought leadership and guidance to clients and SHI teams on best practices, trends, and innovations in technologyBehaviors and CompetenciesProblem-Solving: Can proactively identify and take ownership of complex problem-solving initiatives, initiate preventative measures, collaborate with others to find solutions, and drive successful munication: Can effectively communicate complex ideas and information to diverse audiences, facilitate effective communication between others, and mentor others in effective communication.Adaptability: Can lead others through change, help teams adapt to new directions, and create a culture open to change.Leadership: Can take ownership of complex team initiatives, collaborate with others in decision-making processes, and drive team performance.Teamwork: Can build and lead multiple teams, fostering a cooperative environment and ensuring effective communication between team members.Self-Motivation: Can take ownership of complex personal or professional initiatives, collaborate with others when necessary, and drive results through self-motivation.Skill Level RequirementsProficiency in overseeing and directing projects to completion, ensuring goals are met, resources are utilized efficiently, and stakeholders are satisfied - ExpertOther RequirementsCompleted Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience7+ years of experience in solutions architecture or software engineering7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure10+ years of experience designing, implementing and integrating technology solutions10+ years of experience working with and migrating technology solutions5+ years of experience with Google CloudWillingness to travel occasionallyProven experience in a similar role, with a focus on services sales, delivery, and revenue growth in Professional ServicesProven experience selling large complex professional services projects to enterprise customersStrong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levelsStrong working knowledge of Google Cloud such as configuration, architecting, migration planning, and executionExperience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible or JenkinsExperience with Google data and AI technologies such as BigQuery, AgentSpace, Vertex AIExperience with Google application and platform technologies such as ApigeeExperience with container technologies such as Kubernetes, Tanzu, Rancher, NomadExperience working within Agile DevOps frameworksCertificationsGoogle Certified Architect – Professional certification is required to be obtained within the first 90 days in the role.Additional cloud technology certifications relevant to the domains described above are preferred.The base salary for this position is $140,000 - $200,000. The estimated on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes a base salary and bonus/commissions, are $170,000 - $250,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
