Our conduct is guided by and grounded in the Bible, as reflected in our Statement of Faith below.What we are looking for:A driven and mission-focused Sr. Manager, Software Engineering, Salesforce and Data to impact both ministry and business operations, including Salesforce, Enterprise Data Integration, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence. You will manage a software engineering team, including contractors, in the development of software, database, and integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills with solid experience leading a team of software engineers.Expectations of this role:Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actionsManage and guide software engineering staff and contractorsCollaborate with Product Delivery Managers, other engineering teams, and leadershipCreate and contribute to technical design documentationEnsure development comport with best practices, PFM policies, and IT strategyEnsure the use of approved tools, frameworks, and platformsAnalyze platforms and tools and make recommendations for improvementHelp manage hosting environments and use request/incident ticket tracking and project management systems as neededQualifications:10+ years of management experience, 3+ years of experience leading software engineering teamsSolid experience with Salesforce and Data Warehousing is requiredBachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experienceStrong background in software development, designing data models, data integration, data warehousing, and supporting analyticsExperience with GitHub, code management, merges, and deploymentsExperience in Agile and Waterfall environmentsExperience with CI/CD and DevOps processesExperience building web applicationsExperience building and using APIs to integrate systems and SaaS environmentsKnowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and DockerKnowledge and practical application of open source solutions is a plusThis is a remote/work-from-home position in the US with a 5% travel component; office hours are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM ESTWhat we offer:Our benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement funding, flexible spending accounts, paid parental leave, and more. Paid leave starts at 39 days after one year of employment. Part-time employees working at least 20 hours/week are eligible for select offerings.
