The Role:Arine is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer based in San Francisco, open to remote with preference for local candidates, to join a team of product managers, technologists and clinical professionals in building Arine’s Virtual Pharmacist platform and related solutions. The platform supports an array of medicine intelligence solutions, each serving as a launchpad for expanding the value through our repository of clinical models and workflows.The product management team plans growth to meet customer needs, while our design team focuses on the overall experience and flows that underpin patient outcomes, customer success, and user satisfaction in Arine solutions. This role will own the user experience of Clinical Content and Intelligence in our pharmacist platform and will contribute to broader design strategy, UX/UI, and user success across enterprise solutions.What You’ll be Doing:User Research and Analysis: Conduct internal and external user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors to inform design decisionsIdeation: Lead product teams in brainstorming sessions, workshops and design exercises to gather ideas from customers, internal teams, and stakeholdersUX Design: Transform research into user flows, wireframes, sketches and prototypes; iterate with stakeholders and engineeringUI Design: Reflect brand and design principles in pixel-perfect mockups and ensure proper implementationDriving Clarity: Use design thinking to navigate ambiguity and advocate for user-centered design throughout developmentDesign Systems and Processes: Refine and contribute to the design system to streamline product design for the teamUser Perspective: Represent user needs in discussions and define crisp requirements that deliver valueOwnership & Strategy: Become the expert on product areas and influence how design prioritizes and executes workWho You Are and What You Bring:Minimum 5 years of experience in user experience, UI design, or related field with software productsExperience in user research, design thinking, information architecture, interaction design, and usability testingSincere customer empathy and drive to understand user challengesAbility to guide front-end developers and product managers and foster collaborationAbility to balance complex user problems with engineering requirementsExcellent communication to articulate design concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong collaboration with product managers, clinicians, engineers and other stakeholdersAnalytical and conceptual thinking to translate data into design improvementsFamiliarity with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and prototyping softwareAbility to recognize patterns across diverse use cases and product flowsSelf-starter with a desire to define and drive design standards across the companyNice-to-Haves:Experience in healthcare technology or related fieldPrior front-end development and/or software product management experienceUnderstanding or experience with AI/Machine Learning concepts and applicationsExperience with design systems/FE librariesExperience with motion graphics or animation designExperience organizing and facilitating design and product workshopsJoining Arine offers a dynamic role and the opportunity to contribute to the company’s growth, with learning and growth opportunities alongside Clinicians, Engineers, and Digital Health Entrepreneurs.The posted salary range represents the base compensation for this position and is $145,000-160,000/year.
