This role involves remote work and on-site consultation/reporting at client locations. It is primarily home office based, with onsite work required based on client contracts. Fully remote work is available for candidates not residing in the Capital Region of New York. Residency in the Eastern Time Zone of the US is required.Our experienced team of CFOs manages client finances, including financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and reporting. CFOs also analyze financial data.Responsibilities:Preparation and management of financial statementsStrategic planning and budgetingEnsuring segregation of costsActing as liaison and managing reporting and relationships with banks, insurance providers, and external auditorsSupporting clients through the process to ensure comprehensive coverage of their business needsBookkeeping and accounting according to client Statement of WorkOther duties as assignedQualifications and Skills:1-3 years of experience as a CFO or controllerAssociate or bachelor’s degree in accountingAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsProficiency in QuickBooks (desktop and online)Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environmentConfidentiality in client interactionsExcellent time management and multi-tasking skillsSelf-motivated with minimal supervisionWe value diversity and encourage candidates who may not meet every qualification to apply, as studies show women and people of color are less likely to apply unless they meet all criteria.
