OverviewCorporate Development Director at HackerOne. Remote Location: Seattle, WA; San Francisco Bay Area; Austin, TX; or Boston, MA. This role focuses on leading M&A and competitive intelligence initiatives to shape HackerOne’s growth and strategic partnerships. Visa/work permit sponsorship is not available.HackerOne is a global leader in offensive security solutions and is committed to a flexible work approach that supports remote work while enabling in-person collaboration when possible.What You Will DoBuild and maintain a competitive and market intelligence framework to monitor market trends and competitors.Engage with the CEO, CFO, and Chief Product Officer to develop a strategic opportunity map aligned with the company’s growth strategy.Identify and evaluate acquisition and partnership opportunities that fit the growth strategy.Engage business partners to sponsor deals and develop detailed business cases, deal rationale, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership, with executive-level storytelling.Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deal execution and post-merger integration.Help negotiate terms and agreements with external partners to secure favorable outcomes.Within the first 90 days, align on a strategic opportunity map and prepare a short-list of acquisition or partnership targets in each priority segment.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field5+ years of experience in corporate development, M&A, and investment bankingProven ability to build high-quality relationships with entrepreneurs and senior executivesPreferred QualificationsExpertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and strategic analysis for transactionsProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex deal negotiationsCompensationTier A: $212K – $265K; EquityTier B: $190K – $238K; EquityBenefitsHealth (medical, vision, dental), life, and disability insuranceEquity stock optionsRetirement plansPaid public holidays and unlimited PTOPaid maternity and parental leaveLeaves of absence (including caregiver leave and leave under applicable laws)Employee Assistance ProgramFlexible Work StipendEligibility may differ by countryOther RequirementsHackerOne is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
