Collectively, we are a team of learn it alls, committed to a culture of respect, collaboration, ownership, and results.What You’ll DoHorizon3.ai is in search of a dynamic Product Manager (PM) to join us in this hyper-growth stage to own and accelerate our NodeZero Federal Product roadmap. The person best fit for this role balances drive for speed with drive for impact and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative context.As a PM focused on NodeZero Federal, you’ll use your analytical and technical expertise to define, deliver, and enhance advanced AI-driven offensive and/or defensive security—and drive product adoption for the full buying committee, from InfoSec Analysts to CIOs.You’ll partner closely with Engineering, GTM (Go-To-Market), and Executives and use this vantage to craft a compelling roadmap . You’ll design and execute roadmap initiatives, optimize user experiences, and build new capabilities to bring AI-native cybersecurity to life for the Federal community..This role will report to the Director of Federal Operations, and take a leadership role in driving the evolution of our AI-powered offerings in the Federal space, currently at the FedRAMP High authorization level, but in additional enclaves as we grow.ResponsibilitiesDefine and Deliver AI-Native Cybersecurity CapabilitiesPartner with engineering teams to scope and deliver ML- and GenAI-enabled features such as anomaly detection, alert enrichment, and remediation inference.Define product strategy for AI-enabled capabilities, such as web application pentesting, threat intelligence, threat detection and response, MCP Server integrations, and Agentic workflows.Collaborate with attack engineers and business intelligence to translate cybersecurity research into practical applications for detection, response, emerging threats, and attack simulationIdentify market opportunities for differentiating NodeZero’s AI cybersecurity offerings across verticals and maturity levels within Federal and adjacent to Federal Markets (Defense Industrial Base).Enhance Existing Offensive / Defensive CapabilitiesPartner with GTM and Clients to define and drive growth and stickiness of capabilities such as Risk Based Vulnerability Management, Third Party Supply Chain Risk Management, and of course to streamline and implement continuous compliance as a reality for Federal Compliance ranging from CMMC, to FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and other FISMA standards focused on US Government use cases and clientel.Synthesize customer feedback (via field interviews, support engagements, and usage data) to refine and improve offensive/defensive capabilitiesLead enhancement sprints that improve accuracy, precision, and value of Node Zero generated data and insightsMonitor usage, adoption, and efficacy of capabilities, make data-informed decisions and manage roadmap for ownership areaQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology-related field5+ years of startup PM experience with technical B2B products3+ years experience with AI focused products, ideally within the cybersecurity industry5+ years of experience within the Federal Government or directly support to the Federal Government.Ability to gain or already hold a Security Clearance; TS/SCI preferred.Technical aptitude - experience diving deep into highly technical topics, ideally across multiple industries, products, and tech stacksAnalytics - advanced skills in data analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, BI, and ideally PythonWritten communication - ability to use modern tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) to quickly and concisely write documents and emailsBias towards action - default to action to drive impact quicklyGrowth mindset - experience delaying judgement and being a quick studyExecutive presence - experience working directly with executives to drive strategy and execute against success criteriaVerbal communication - demonstrated thoughtfulness of professional strengths, development areas, successes, failures, and goalsHunger - demonstrated ambition to grow professionallyServant leadership - demonstrated humility as a means of driving initiatives forward (instinctive “any problem is my problem to solve”)Location & Travel RequirementsPreferred location: Washington D.C. areaUp to 15% travel requiredCompensation And ValuesAt Horizon3, we believe that our people are our greatest asset, and our compensation philosophy reflects this core value. Our compensation structure is designed to be fair, competitive, and transparent, ensuring that every team member is recognized and compensated equitably across roles, levels, and accordance with various State’s transparency regulations, we provide the following salary range information for this position:Base salary range: $200,000 - $215,000 annually. The exact salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s location, qualifications, experience, and relevant skills.Additional compensation: This role may also be eligible for an equity package (in the form of stock options).
