You will work closely with the founding team and a group of highly-skilled engineers to shape the future of search and analytics of observability data. You will play a central role in bringing integrating cutting-edge Generative AI technologies with the Cribl Product suite to help solve real customer problems.As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will...Lead a cross-functional AI product engineering team, owning strategy and execution across multiple Copilot experiences.Drive technical direction and product evolution for the AI stack, inference backend, and user-facing AI products.Oversee infrastructure, on-call rotations, and operational processes.Operate in a player-coach model, contributing 25–40% of your time to hands-on engineering:Writing evalsTesting and debugging featuresOccasionally contributing to inference stack developmentThis position will require stand-by, on-call, or off-hours dutiesIf You've Got It - We Want It4–7 years of Engineering Management experienceRecent (within 5 years) hands-on engineering experience in: TypeScript / JavaScript, Python or GoBackground in B2B SaaS product developmentDemonstrated interest in AI/MLCan articulate informed opinions about current AI trendsExperience working directly with AI productsStrong communication skills and leadership presence in a distributed teamSalary Range ($235,000 - $270,000)The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
