As the largest pure-play Salesforce Summit Partner specifically dedicated to the subscription economy, Neocol has created repeatable playbooks and assets that empower transformation at the highest level.Day in the Life of a Director of Data ArchitectureAs the Director of the Data Architecture team, you will directly engage with customers with the goal of migrating customer data from a source system to Salesforce CRM. This data will typically include a combination of CPQ (Configure Price Quote), Billing, Sales and Service Cloud information. You will also work with Microsoft SQL Server, DBAmp and various other tools to extract, transform and load data from the source system into Salesforce.Lead a team of Data Migration Architects & Consultants,, as well as perform individual contributions to external projectsUtilization: 50%Conduct workshops with customers regarding data migration processes and gather requirementsDefine and refine data migration scope on projects, addressing any variances along the wayCreate data migration plans, inclusive of timelines and milestones, in conjunction with customers and project teams to lead to successful closeout of projects based on data requirementsCreate field mapping, maintain user stories and Jira tickets, develop migration scripts, execute migration to test and production environments, and troubleshoot/resolve issuesPerform detailed review of data from customers, verifying integrity of data, as well as looking for possible errorsParticipate in multiple engagements simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and quality are being metSeek efficiencies and standardization in data migration processesManage complex migration projects from beginning to endCreate a positive customer experience by building strong customer relationshipsConduct regular check-in meetings with customers/project teams to provide status updates, address roadblocks and issues, and ensure overall projects remain on track for the data migration portion of projectsProvide clear and detailed documentation of deployment steps, migration processes, test load results and recommended areas for testingCollaborate closely with project teams at Neocol to ensure overall solutions include data migration considerationsOur Core Values in ActionCollaboration: Across all key stakeholders (employees, partners, customers), it is essential that we work together, as a team, to drive value in every interaction and implementation.Creativity: We enjoy getting creative in the way we solution with our customers, work with our teammates, and drive value with our partners.Trust: It is important that Neocol operate in a fun, open, and ethical environment.
