We are looking for an experienced Partner Sales Director to promote work within Appian's internal sales team and forge relationships with our Global Systems Integrators (GSIs) to achieve aggressive growth and revenue goals. This individual will make a noticeable impact on Appian by managing high profile relationships and helping our GSI’s build solutions and go to market motions that improve their ability to serve their customers.OverviewIn this role, you will:ResponsibilitiesManage relationship with Strategic GSI’s in the Commercial SpaceDrive business development opportunities for direct sales through Partner relationshipsOversee the creation and maintenance of Appian delivery practices within Strategic partnersConnect Appian sales teams with partner leads to jointly develop customer opportunitiesOversee the creation, development, and go to market for partner solutionsEducate the Partner organizations on the benefit of Appian’s softwareOversee and Manage relationships with smaller partner organizationsQualificationsBachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Business5+ years previous partner/channel enterprise software sales experience relevant experience in a services firmDemonstrated success in working with service providers in business development and the construction of services & practices around specific software productsWorking knowledge of business process automation with a history of qualifying client solution areas and orchestrating multi departmental solution salesWorking knowledge of solution selling methodology and practiceExcellent written / verbal communication and presentation skillsConfident, competitive, thorough, and tenacious attitudeAble to work independently, but within a team environmentAbility to travel within assigned regionPreferred experience: Past partnership with Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PWC)Tools and ResourcesTraining and Development: During onboarding, we focus on equipping new hires with the skills and knowledge for success through department-specific training.
