OverviewThe Partner team at Appian is a fast-paced, dynamic organization that drives Appian's growth globally. We are looking for an experienced Partner Sales Director to promote work within Appian's internal sales team and forge relationships with Global Systems Integrators (GSIs) to achieve aggressive growth and revenue goals. This role will manage high-profile relationships and help our GSIs build solutions and go-to-market motions that improve their ability to serve their This Role, You WillManage relationships with Strategic GSIs in the commercial spaceDrive business development opportunities for direct sales through partner relationshipsOversee the creation and maintenance of Appian delivery practices within strategic partnersConnect Appian sales teams with partner leads to jointly develop customer opportunitiesOversee the creation, development, and go-to-market for partner solutionsEducate partner organizations on the benefits of Appian’s softwareOversee and manage relationships with smaller partner organizationsQualificationsBachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Business5+ years of experience in partner/channel enterprise software sales, with relevant experience in a services firmProven success partnering with service providers in business development and building services & practices around software productsWorking knowledge of business process automation and experience qualifying client solution areas and orchestrating multi-department solution salesWorking knowledge of solution selling methodology and practiceExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsConfident, competitive, thorough, and tenacious attitudeAbility to work independently and within a teamAbility to travel within assigned regionPreferred experience: Past partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)Tools and ResourcesTraining and Development: onboarding provides role-specific training; continuous learning is a central focus with mentorship and the First-Friend programGrowth Opportunities: leadership program for new managers, Appian University courses, skills-based training, and tuition reimbursementCommunity: inclusive environment with employee-led affinity groups and community activitiesAbout AppianAppian is a software company that automates business processes.
