This venture is not for the feint of heart – we work hard, play hard, and bring our complete selves to work.Varicent Solutions ArchitectWhat you’ll do:Lead end-to-end Varicent implementation projects, leveraging cloud technologies to solve complex sales performance and incentive compensation challengesProvide deep Varicent and technology expertise to maximize value for the clients and internal project teamsDrive disciplined delivery methodology to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to client satisfactionDesign scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized solutions within the Varicent platform to meet diverse compensation and sales operations needsBring best practices in the solution design to ensure that the end architecture meets best practicesEnsure that the recent product launches, updates are incorporated into the solutions designGuide, coach, and mentor project team members, fostering continuous learning and professional growth in Varicent and SPM best practicesDemonstrate strong client-facing communication and facilitation skills to navigate business requirements, system design, and solution validationCollaborate with ZS experts across domains to identify innovative approaches and mitigate delivery risksWork with global team members across time zones to ensure seamless implementation and post-go-live supportBring clarity to ambiguous client challenges and support development of business cases for future-state Varicent implementationsSupport ZS Leadership through thought leadership, innovation initiatives, and internal capability development around the Varicent platformWhat you’ll bringBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field with a strong academic record5+ years of experience leading large-scale technology implementations, with at least 2–3 years focused on Varicent or Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platformsStrong understanding of sales compensation processes, sales operations, and performance managementExceptional communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into clear business languageProven experience in supervising, mentoring, and managing project teamsHands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and integrations between Varicent and CRM/ERP/HR systems (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, SAP)Strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL for large-scale enterprise environmentsFamiliarity with modern data platforms and tools such as Snowflake, Power BI, Databricks, or RedshiftExperience delivering projects using Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative deliveryAdditional skillsCapable of leading distributed global teams and ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery of multiple projectsSkilled in diagnosing and resolving issues across data layers, application logic, and user interfacesWillingness to travel to global ZS or client offices as needed to support implementation and collaborationPerks & BenefitsZS offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health and well-being, financial planning, annual leave, personal growth and professional development.
