Naval Architecture or Naval Engineering degree preferred.Approximately fifteen (15) years of verifiable experience participating in naval architecture.Minimum Secret ClearanceDesired Qualifications / SkillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team under project deadlines.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include providing naval architect support and analysis in the areas of structural design, cargo handling and lifesaving systems, weight and moment reports and calculations, stability calculations, inclining experiment support and calculations, hydrostatics, intact and damage stability reviews, arrangements, survivability, hydrodynamics (including sea keeping), and dry-docking studies.
