OverviewCommercial construction contractor is seeking Project Engineer with 1+ year TI construction experience.Base pay range$70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yrJob detailsPosition Overview We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Project Engineer to join our fast-paced, innovative construction company that focuses on commercial TI work. Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a challenging environment, is passionate about construction, and has a keen eye for detail. The Permanent Project Engineer will report directly to the Project Manager and will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects from conception to completion.Day to Day ResponsibilitiesAssist in the planning and design phase of commercial tenant improvements projects, ensuring that all specifications and regulations are metCoordinate and oversee the work of the construction team and subcontractors, ensuring that all tasks are carried out according to planReview and approve project drawings and specifications, making necessary changes when requiredManage the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budgetMonitor the progress of the project, making sure that milestones are met and addressing any issues that ariseConduct quality control checks, ensuring that the work meets the required standards and that safety regulations are followedPrepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, providing them with updates on the project status and any challenges encounteredCollaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals, contributing to the overall success of the projectRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field1 year of experience as a Project Engineer in the Construction industryCommercial tenant improvement experienceStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulationsExcellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projectsJobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
