Tax Manager

OverviewTax Manager - HYBRID opportunity in Coral Gables, FL. In the office for 2 months onsite and then a hybrid schedule. Salary range listed: $130,000 - $150,000 per year.What you’ll doResearch and consult on complex tax matters for mid-sized corporations across industries (retail, corporate, hospitality, real estate, construction, lawyers, doctors, etc.).Develop and implement strategic tax planning for federal and state taxes.Supervise, train, and mentor associates and junior associates on client engagements and technical issues (2–7 people).Identify opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures.Identify and implement tax planning, tax-saving strategies, and consulting opportunities.Research the implications of tax laws and advise clients on tax-related issues, in discussion with Partners.Participate in and organize in-house training and development programs.Qualifications5–12 years of experience in tax, with 2–5 years in managing teams.CPA not required, but willing to obtain is preferred; EA is a plus.Public Accounting experience is a plus.Experience with estates or trusts or SALT is a plus.Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.Proficiency with ProSystems FX Engagement, CCH, QuickBooks, Excel and/or RIA Checkpoint is preferred but not mandatory.What we offer401(k) retirement with company matching on a vested schedule (Open Enrollment quarterly).Health and disability insurance paid 100% by the company.Life insurance paid by the company.Paid time off, vacation, and holidays.About usFor over thirty years, we have provided high-quality financial and management services to a diverse client base.
