Grows revenue as directed by senior management by closing new business relationships and retaining and expanding relationships with existing customers. Responsibilities include underwriting all types of credit account exposure, managing an assigned credit portfolio, successfully closing new business relationships and expanding existing relationships, managing credit risk and responding to prospect or customer credit questions and making independent calls on assigned portfolio of relationships. Secondarily, provides customer service, participates in joint sales calls with Relationship Managers and identifies customer needs.ResponsibilitiesUnderwrite and manage credit exposure across commercial real estate accounts.Manage an assigned portfolio of CRE credit relationships; close new business and expand existing relationships.Manage credit risk and respond to credit questions from prospects and customers.Make independent calls on assigned portfolio and support relationship managers on sales activities.Provide customer service and identify customer needs through joint sales calls with Relationship Managers.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experienceSeven to ten years of commercial banking experiencePreferred Skills/ExperienceExtensive knowledge of commercial real estate lendingUnderwriting and monitoring CRE construction projectsExtensive knowledge of commercial lending policy, laws and regulations, credit quality standards, and company policiesStrong relationship management and business development abilities, with knowledge of credit productsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationshipsWell-developed written communication and verbal presentation skillsWork ScheduleThe role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule with an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week.Disability AccommodationsIf there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.BenefitsBenefits: Our approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members’ whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work.
