OverviewVaco Boston has partnered with our client in Boston, MA to help find a Senior Tax Accountant to join its team. This position is onsite.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review complex tax returnsSupport the Director of Tax Services and act as backup when neededProvide expert tax guidance and participate in staff hiring and evaluationsQualificationsBachelor's degree required; Master's preferred7+ years of experience with a focus on complex returnsBackground in mid-sized or larger firmsStrong understanding of tax codes and complianceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail and confidentialityStrong organizational and time management abilitiesDetermining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
