We are looking for someone with experience that ranges from project entitlements and preliminary design through construction documents and construction administration. This position offers the incredible opportunity to have leadership responsibilities and influence on a growing team, with the support of Coffman professionals across the pensation and BenefitsExpected Base Salary: $123,000 to $166,000 based on experience.Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rateCompetitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performanceHybrid work schedule (subject to change)401k with employer contribution matchingQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) registration requiredRegistration in Oregon and Washington preferredMinimum of 12 years working on professional land development projects across diverse markets such as commercial, education, residential, healthcare, municipal, infrastructure, and/or Federal projects with the following experience:Managing multiple, concurrent projectsLeading design team effortsSuccessfully managing project budgets and schedulesInterfacing with a multi-discipline design teamMentoring junior staffClient managementTechnical experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, technical studies, mapping documents, preparation and processing of civil construction documents, and earthwork calculationsStormwater experience in Oregon and Western Washington preferredProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferredSpecification preparation experience preferredEffective technical writing and communication skillsAbility to foster long term client relationshipsExcellent time management skillsPortland experience and relationships are a plusThis position is not eligible for sponsorship.Why You Want to Work HereCoffman Engineers is a company that truly focuses on its employees.
