To be successful in this role, one must enjoy working cross-functionally within the organization as well as partnering with prospective and existing clients to define and deliver the best Zinnia solutions to support their objectives. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is creative, detail-oriented, and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills. They possess the ability to learn through observation, adapt quickly to client challenges, and think well on their feet while building trusted, long-term relationships with customers.What You'll DoSupport sales executives and strategic account managers in revenue generating pursuitsAct as a trusted advisor by aligning business outcomes with Zinnia solutions, ensuring both immediate and long-term value.Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to influence solution design and ensure seamless delivery.Support RFP/RFI responses with solution-oriented insights and technical expertise.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering trust and credibility.Continuously develop knowledge of Zinnia’s offerings, industry trends, and competitors to provide consultative guidance.Gather feedback from clients and prospects to help shape Zinnia’s product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.Assist in building a best practice SC programRepresent Zinnia sales organization at industry eventsWhat You'll NeedBachelor’s degree or 7 to 10 years work experience in related field5+ years of Life and Annuity industry experience (preferred)Proven experience and success in working independently at a fast paceExcellent results orientated, organization and management skills with the ability to lead and focus the efforts of others to a specific goalProven experience as a Solution Consultant, Sales Engineer, or in a client-facing technical/pre-sales role within SaaS, fintech, or related industriesStrong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate client requirements into tailored technology solutionsExcellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiencesComfort engaging with executives, decision-makers, and technical stakeholders alikeStrong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly in fast-moving client engagementsDemonstrated success in supporting both prospective and current clients throughout solution design and implementationTechnical aptitude and curiosity, with the ability to learn Zinnia’s platform deeply and stay up-to-date on industry trendsDetail orientation and organizational skills to manage multiple client opportunities at onceSome travel may be required (up to 30%)What Is In It For You?Zinnia offers excellent career progression and competitive compensation with the goal of retaining and growing talented team members.
