Overview Job Title: Vice President of Finance We are seeking a strategic and hands-on financial leader to oversee all aspects of our organization's finances. As VP of Finance, you will manage budgeting, reporting, accounting, risk management, and long-term financial planning to ensure strong fiscal health and compliance. This role is both strategic and operational, ideal for someone who thrives in a small nonprofit environment. Responsibilities Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes Oversee day-to-day accounting (AP / AR, payroll, reconciliations, reporting) Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS, audit, and grant requirements Track restricted / unrestricted funds and support grant reporting Present financial updates to leadership, Board, and Finance Committee Maintain internal controls and risk management policies Supervise finance staff / contractors and foster cross-department collaboration About You Proven experience in financial management (nonprofit experience preferred) Strong analytical and strategic planning skills Comfortable balancing leadership with hands-on execution Collaborative, detail-oriented, and mission-driven Benefits We offer excellent medical, dental and vision benefits, generous paid time off, including December holidays shutdown week, generous retirement savings 403B plan with employer contribution, and opportunities for professional development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
