Overview Technology Architect - DevOps, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), Tools Migration and consolidation Role details Role: Technology Architect - DevOps, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), Tools Migration and consolidation (Interview on 26th Aug 2017) Job Type: Full-time Location: Hartford, CT Note: Client is willing to provide relocation assistance. Responsibilities Perform AS-IS analysis of the SDLC processes, identify gaps, estimate effort, and define the roadmap to implement the DevOps solution. Validate CI/CD implementation and conduct audits to provide assessment results and recommendations for refinements. Write scripts to build and deploy to server-side environments and automate logging of builds. Define new architectures and drive independent projects from an architectural standpoint. Collaborate in a diverse/multi-stakeholder environment; facilitate client interfacing and troubleshooting as needed. Work in a global delivery environment. Qualifications Basic Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education. At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology. Preferred At least 4 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks. At least 4 years of experience in design and implementation of CI, CD and tools migration and consolidation using one or more of the DevOps tools/technologies in each of the areas below: Project Management - JIRA, IBM RTC, Rally Code Management System - SVN, GIT, Stash and ClearCase Build - Maven, Nexus, Ant, Makefile Code Quality - SonarQube, Crucible, JUnit, PMD, Checkstyle CI - Jenkins, Cruise Control, Bamboo CD - uDeploy, Liquibase, Chef Test Automation - HP QTP, Selenium, JMeter, SOAPUI Scripting - Shell scripting, PowerShell, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Python Predictive Monitoring - Splunk End-to-end deployment - Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Jetty Operating System - Unix, Linux At least 3 years experience in performing AS-IS Analysis of the SDLC processes, Identifying Gaps, Estimation and defining the roadmap to implement the DevOps solution Experience in validating CI/CD implementation and auditing to provide assessment results and recommendations for refinements Experience in writing scripts to build and deploy to server-side environments and to automate logging of builds Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural standpoint Ability to work in team in diverse/multi stakeholder environment Good Troubleshooting, Analytical and Client Interfacing skills Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
