BAE Systems/' Model Based Engineering Capability Group (MBE CG) is on a mission to transform the industry with cutting-edge Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering (DE) practices.As a key player in our MBE CG, you ll be responsible for architecting solutions to streamline development and analysis of systems engineering artifacts found in our MBSE tools, and the development of our Digital Engineering Ecosystem (DEE). Your expertise will be instrumental in driving our transition to a Digital Enterprise (DE), where virtual and cloud-based networks are redefining the boundaries of traditional engineering.This role s responsibilities will require you to:ResponsibilitiesUtilize your knowledge of MBSE tools and their associated APIs to develop customizations for managing requirements and system modelsDevelop tools and methods for managing, analyzing, and visualizing data in the DEECollaborate with project teams and leadership to contribute to the development of MBSE/DE training materials and company best practicesJoin our team of trailblazers and help shape the future of engineering at BAE Systems. If you have a strong passion for MBSE/DE and a desire to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Required Education, Experience, & SkillsActive Secret Security ClearanceBachelor/'s Degree in STEM field and 8 years experience in Systems/Software Engineering or Masters Degree in STEM field and 6 years experience in Systems/Software Engineering2 years of experience working with MBSE tools (e.g. Cameo/MagicDraw, DOORS, Jama) and building customizations using APIsProficiency in a compiled language such as C, C , or JavaExperience publishing documents from MBSE tools using RPE and/or Velocity APIExperience with relational databasesExcellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirementsPreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsExperience in developing system models using languages such as UML and SysMLExperience in Agile software development methodologies and task management tools (e.g. Jira)Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI)Experienced working in all phases of the engineering product development lifecycleClassroom and on-the-job teaching experienceTraining material developmentEW ExperiencePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
