You will participate in Knowledge Transfer with clients and assist in documentation creation. The focus is on the ISV software and license key procedures for those products. You will identify which software products require a license key, document procedures for applying, and then apply keys for the products during migration.Your primary job responsibility will be to shadow the client engineers and assist in the transition of services to Ensono engineers. You will support mainframe disaster recovery team during disaster recovery drills and exercises. While supporting ISV and zOS for the Disaster Recovery Team, you may be engaged in more than one DR drill simultaneously.You will also install and support ISV software on a zOS system and attend project meetings to understand scope of planned disaster recovery drills, address issues as they arise during the drill as well as review and correct any procedures as necessary.What You Will Need8-10 years of experience working within a z/OS environment3-5 years ISV licensing experienceFamiliarity with mainframe functional areas such as zOS, Storage, CICS, and DBMSFamiliarity with JCLExperience with installation or support of mainframe ISV products such as SAS, CA/Broadcom, McKinney Systems, BMC, PRECISELY and othersExperience with SMP/E, base installation and maintenance applicationProficiency in interacting with ISV vendors, problem determination and resolution for the products identified aboveMust be self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel to a level of creating documents which can be shared with clientsWhy Ensono?Ensono is a place where we unleash Associates to Do Great Things – for our clients and for your career.
