Base is planning to bring a million developers and a billion users onchain. We’re joining as the second Core Dev team working on the OP Stack to ensure it’s a public good available to everyone; and contributing a portion of sequencer revenue to funding public goods.We’re looking for a Head of Community who will lead Base’s online and in-person communities and support functions.What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):Manage Base’s cross-platform communities in western marketsCultivate an emerging community of creators on The Base AppCreate, curate and produce community contentScale community support and moderation infrastructureCoordinate and run community events and meetupsCollect and synthesize community feedback to influence product developmentServe as a public figurehead for BaseWhat we look for in you (ie. job requirements):8+ years of relevant experience in crypto / community management / creator platformsExperience growing a startup/project/communityExperience scaling and operationalizing teams, systems and processesDeep connectivity in / understanding of the crypto ecosystemStrong public profile on social mediaGreat communicator, comfortable talking in public and hosting live eventsLocated in North AmericaJob #: GBBCLUSPay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below.
