We are a next-generation digital transformation, technology consulting, enterprise IT, and product engineering services firm. Job Description Primary responsibilities include: Design creative Internet of Things (IoT) based engineering projects for students that address real-world problems. Design IoT-based engineering projects that illustrate engineering and technology topics, such as wireless communication, Internet of Things, 5G, VR, AI, among others. Manage various projects from start to finish, including documentation and prototypes. Collaborate with departments to develop new engineering activities and projects, including engineering and government affairs. Conduct hands-on workshops to refine IoT-based engineering projects by incorporating feedback and lessons learned. Support Thinkabit Lab staff with engineering content and new IoT projects. Minimum Qualifications Experience in low-level embedded software development. Communications software experience (e.g., Ethernet, LTE/4G/5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC). Proficiency in App Inventor, Arduino Software Development Environment, C Programming, Microsoft Block Editor. Experience with Arduino boards and other microcontrollers. Knowledge of basic electronic components, including sensors, buttons, and resistors. Understanding of technical topics such as 5G, IoT, VR/AR, cybersecurity. Project development and management skills. Educational, teaching, tutoring, or training background. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills and a desire to work with students of all ages. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Preferred Qualifications C++ programming. Android app development. Ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences. Qualifications Good knowledge of IoT and ASIC software development lifecycle. Understanding of digital integrated circuits or core design, digital IC architecture. Need not have in-depth knowledge; looking for candidates with above-moderate knowledge who understand the product functionality. Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
