Best in Business, Health Services.About The RoleWe are seeking a Controller who thrives in fast-paced environments and can build scalable processes without losing sight of the details. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this individual will take ownership of accounting operations, compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting. This role requires someone who can not only maintain the integrity of the books but also partner cross-functionally to drive process improvements across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and continuously improve all accounting operations, including monthly close, financial reporting, consolidations, and intercompany reconciliationsImplement scalable processes and controls suitable for a high-growth, multi-entity environmentPartner with the Director of Finance and executive leadership to support strategic initiatives, budgeting, and financial planningOversee regulatory compliance, tax strategy, and external auditsDevelop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and financial performance metricsRecruit, develop, and lead a high-performing accounting teamEvaluate current systems (e.g., NetSuite) and identify opportunities for automation and optimizationProvide accounting insight and operational alignment in areas such as revenue cycle management, payroll, and vendor managementEnsure timely and accurate financial reporting for both internal stakeholders and investor audiencesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA a plus)Active CPA required5+ years of public accounting experience preferredExperience in a startup or high-growth environment strongly preferredOnsite presence required in our downtown Fort Lauderdale headquartersTechnical & Operational ExpertiseStrong working knowledge of GAAP, multi-entity consolidations, and intercompany accountingFamiliarity with medical billing and healthcare revenue cycle preferredExperience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and reporting toolsKnowledge of transfer pricing and multi-jurisdictional accounting a plusAttributes for SuccessOperates with urgency and disciplineStrategic thinker with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentalityNatural collaborator with business partners across departmentsStrong communication and executive presenceHigh degree of ownership and accountabilitySummaryOutstanding Benefits21 paid days off (15 days of PTO, which increases with tenure, plus 6 holidays).Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options.Medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life insurance.Generous 401(k) with up to 6% employer match.At ICBD, we believe leadership, innovation, and purpose go hand in hand.
