Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting

OverviewCoherus Oncology, Inc. is seeking a Manager of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting. The Manager of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting will prepare annual and quarterly financial statements, as well as other SEC filings. In addition, this role will be responsible for technical accounting research and will assist in internal control activities and compliance.ResponsibilitiesPrepare quarterly and annual SEC filings on Form 10-Q and Form 10-KCompile financial statements (consolidated balance sheet, consolidated income statement, statement of cash flows, statement of stockholders’ equity, footnotes), management disclosures and analysis and other SEC disclosuresPrepare EPS calculationsPrepare disclosure checklistsEnsure financial statements are prepared in accordance with US GAAP and SEC regulations, including newly issued accounting pronouncementsReview and approve XBRL tagging of financial statements under US GAAPManage internal and external review for these documentsPrepare quarterly earnings release tablesDetermine and manage timelines for financial statement preparation and filing and work collaboratively with various business partners to ensure such timelines are metPrepare necessary documents for the company’s disclosure committee on a timely basisPerform technical accounting research and prepare technical memorandaManage third-party resources if utilizing their services to assist in technical accounting researchImplement new accounting standards and practicesRecommend, implement, maintain, and communicate accounting policies, practices and procedures to ensure the integrity of the company’s financial statementsPrepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiriesAssist with quarterly flux analysisAssist with overall company-wide SOX compliancePrepare Debt, Lease and other technical journal entries and account reconciliationsAssist with consolidation and financial close activitiesManage and complete special projects as necessaryQualificationsBachelor’s degree in accountingMinimum of 6 years of recent accounting experience required, including at least four years of SEC reporting experienceBig 4 experience requiredToppan Merrill Bridge experience preferredCertified Public Accountant designation preferredProficient knowledge of U.S. GAAPKey CharacteristicsHigh degree of business and technical proficiency, judgment, and leadership skillsStrong interpersonal and written communication skillsProactive, organized, and able to take ownership of projects and deadlinesComposed under pressureThe Base Salary Range for this position is $115,000 – $145,000. Coherus considers various factors, including professional background and work experience, when determining base pay.
