OverviewFor this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $96,000-144,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Additional growth areas include digital relay protection and control, equipment assessments and power quality assessments. You will have the opportunity to continuously expand your skills and increase your knowledge so that the solutions we offer are technically sound and meet national regulatory standards.Engineers are responsible for working with project management to ensure that the work satisfies specifications and customer needs and is completed within the project timeline and budget. Most projects are office-based, but some include onsite data collection, which requires travel and adherence to company safety policies.You will develop relationships with key customers and work to become the trusted advisor for them in order to facilitate an effective partnership and drive incremental business.Typical Responsibilities:Executes projects or leads project executionDevelops and maintains own technical and commercial proficiency of Consulting offersMaintains the relationship with key customers (internal and external)ESTIMATED AVERAGE TRAVEL: 25%BSEEFive years’ experience in power systemsExcellent communication skills (oral and written)The ability to quickly establish trust of clients in a consulting roleWillingness to collaborate to ensure success of teamEIT/FE (PE a plus)Competencies:Power system analysis including short-circuit, coordination, and arc flashProficiency in modeling electrical systems in software such as ETAP, SKM, EasypowerReport writingNational Electrical Code LV cable and transformer protectionAbility to analyze and interpret engineering documents, codes and standards, technical proceduresSafety consciousSituational awareness, social intelligence, listening, problem-solving skillsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to assist others in understanding project objectives and specifications and see various points of viewCool-Calm-Collected under pressure and in dynamic environmentsAble to simultaneously address project details without losing the big-pictureAnticipates and communicates project risks and implements mitigation strategiesCollaborative and influential communication styleAmbitious, quick and assertiveAbility to develop project scope and identify project risks (technical, schedule, cost, change order)Let us learn about you!
