The selected applicant will conduct engineering/electrical feasibility analysis, electrical studies, arc flash analysis, and electrical design services on a variety of building types. Experience performing mechanical/electrical design, existing facility engineering analysis/studies, and Construction Period Serves a requirement for applying to this position.This position will require you to perform field inspections of government, commercial, industrial, multifamily residential, manufacturing, and institutional properties. You will collect relevant information to help perform existing condition assessments, electrical one-line documentation, arc flash studies, provide engineering recommendations for critical power upgrades, and electrical design. The ideal candidate will be adaptive to working with all property types and knowledgeable about a variety of electrical distribution systems.The successful candidate may also be expected to help perform commissioning design review activities, construction verification, and field functional testing. Depending on project capacity, this candidate may also be expected to assist in electrical/mechanical design.ResponsibilitiesPerform field inspections of various property types (government, commercial, industrial, multifamily residential, manufacturing, institutional).Conduct electrical feasibility analyses, arc flash studies, and electrical design work.Assist in commissioning design reviews, construction verification, and field functional testing.Assist in electrical/mechanical design as project needs require.RequirementsExperience Requirements:Critical power and infrastructure testing and assessmentsA professional degree in electrical engineeringUnderstanding of and experience with a variety of electrical distribution systemsExperience with medium voltage and low voltage power distributionFamiliarity with NFPA, NEC, NETA, and IECC standardsWorking knowledge of building systems (HVAC, Plumbing, IT/Com, etc.)Site survey and analysisExcellent report writing skills, computer and internet skillsExcellent communication and management skillsExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to complete assignments on time and within budgetCommunication, and Software Skills:Ability to utilize a variety of software programs to monitor, update, and produce work products by applying knowledge of computer literacyAbility to exercise good interpersonal skillsEducational Requirements:BS in Engineering or related fieldsRegistration Requirements:PE required with commissioning certification a plusBenefits401(k)Bi-Weekly 401(k) company contribution (3% of salary)Annual profit-sharing contribution to 401(k)Paid federal holidaysHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time OffOptional Benefits:Accident CoverageShort TermLong TermTerm Life InsuranceMedical BridgeCritical IllnessEqual Opportunity Employer.
