ABOUT THE ROLE As a Service Technician, you will:      Technical Expertise * Respond to service calls and troubleshoot a wide range of EV charger issues, including electrical, mechanical, and software problems using internal ticketing system. * Diagnose, inspect, and repair faulty components, such as charging cables, connectors, control units, and power distribution equipment. * Partner with Service Engineers to deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing and resolving onsite issues. * Partner with global Engineering, Product Management, and Service Teams to stay up to date with the latest advancements in EV charging technology and industry standards. Customer Service * Interact with customers professionally and courteously, providing excellent customer service. * Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to resolve issues promptly. * Maintain accurate and detailed service records. Field Service * Willingness to travel up to 75% to service customer sites, including internationally. * Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed. * Adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices. WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU? Qualifications:  * Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role. * Strong technical skills, including electrical troubleshooting and repair. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills: * Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. * Certification in electrical or related field. * A valid electrician's license is strongly preferred. * Experience with EV charging systems and protocols. * Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. * Experience troubleshooting electrical systems, network connectivity, and software applications.
