This role specifically supports our LinkedIn Talent Solutions (LTS) business: a multi-million-dollar business for LinkedIn that more than 700,000+ companies in 230 countries leverage. Our hiring products help companies match open roles with qualified candidates and improve the hiring process while our learning product allows consumers to learn and add new skills to their profiles. Our talent products work together so customers can easily hire the right people, help their teams build skills, and improve their employee experience.As a Senior Manager on the LTS Employee Communications team, you’ll have the opportunity to create a more standardized and scalable process for the development of content for our LTS employee communications channels – including the hub (intranet), newsletter, Teams channels and more, reaching 2,500+ sales employees and cross-functional partners. The Senior Manager also plays an important role in guiding and providing counsel for our regional leaders with quarterly or biannual all-hands meetings and organizational announcements, such as key product launches and program or team updates, in partnership with their local teams.Responsibilities:Communications Strategy and ExecutionLeverages understanding of business needs and insights to develop and socialize many elements of strategy and planning for several functions.Implements tactics and collects and reviews results to ensure accuracy and quality across messages and channels.Embodies and supports LinkedIn culture and values and ensures they are represented in individual work.Risk and Issues ManagementProactively flags potential reputational risks and mitigates low and moderate risk issues.Stakeholder EngagementOwns individual stakeholder relationships by developing trust and rapport with appropriate stakeholders.Uses strong expertise interacting with many stakeholders and leverages that understanding in execution of tasks.Establishes decision making criteria, stakeholder expectations, and principles at outset to drive priorities and expectations.Recognizes opportunities and makes decisions that recognize stakeholders' diverse perspectives.Writing and StorytellingDevelops new stories/narratives and content topics independently and provides final edits for simple materials.Determines what channels are most appropriate and meaningful for a story/content and target audience.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:Minimum 7 years of experience in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related experience, AND minimum 2 years of experience in External Communications or Employee CommunicationsORBachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field AND minimum 4 years of experience in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related experience, AND minimum 2 years of experience in External Communications or Employee Communications.Preferred Qualifications:Experience providing guidance to senior leaders around communications prioritiesExperience collaborating with Program Management, Product Marketing and Go-to-Market Enablement teams on new product launches and sales rep readinessStrong understanding of employee audiencesStay on top of current trends in content creation and bring an innovation mindset, specifically with internal channel work (video, hubs, newsletters)Ability to move and operate in a fast-paced environmentAbility to create effective relationships, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels and with various cross-functional partnersExceptional problem-solving, strategic, and analytical skillsSuggested Skills:Analytical ThinkingBusiness AcumenChange ManagementInfluence OthersPrioritizationLinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $148,000 to $233,000.Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plan.
