OverviewJob Title: Sr. Mechanical Design EngineerLocation: San Jose, CATerm: ContractResponsibilitiesWork with the Secure Pump Pay team to design, draft and document solutions for the petroleum industry.Apply strong three-dimensional problem-solving skills.Use SolidWorks to design mechanically complex solutions.Create Bill of Materials (BOM) and installation guides.Work with outside suppliers to build and construct engineering prototypes.Work with the Supply Chain New Product Introduction (NPI) group to release to production.Agile BOM creation and modification.Design injection-mold plastics components.Design sheet metal components.EPDM usage with SolidWorks.Experience working with outside professional services.QualificationsEducation: BS or greater; 10+ years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience.SolidWorks: 5+ years of SolidWorks experience, including versions 2013 or 2014. #J-18808-Ljbffr
