Join us to help deliver the safety everyone deserves.Job DescriptionRepresent TRW Automotive as an on-site Supplier Resident Release Engineer at GM for EPS Steering Gear. This includes interacting with various levels of GM Engineering and Management to resolve issues and ensure flawless program execution.ResponsibilitiesRelease TRW parts into GM's systemCreate / Update Program Summary SheetsCoordinate and manage GM customer-led meetings and design reviewsSupport weekly meetings to discuss open issues and lead them to quick resolution/closureRelease software/data files into GM systemsSupport GM validation activities and bench-level testingAssist GM Engineering in troubleshooting electrical hardware/software issues at vehicle and component levels. Lead communications between TRW and GM, including reporting issuesSupport product launches at GM vehicle assembly plantsCoordinate releases for Service Support and warranty review and analysisSupport Math data and Drawing submissionQualificationsBachelor of Science in Electrical or System EngineeringExperience with Automotive electrical systems and functional sub-systemsAbility to troubleshoot using GM Tools or supplier-specific tools, such as CAnape and DPS tool preferred5+ years experience with Release Engineering responsibility at GM (preferred)Working knowledge of GM E2 system to process Work Orders, PRTS system for issue resolution, APM/GDPS for BOM Change managementAdditional CommentsCandidate must have strong interpersonal skills, be results-oriented, work well within a team environment, and be a US citizen or Permanent Resident (no sponsorship).Compensation$66,000 - $85,000 plus bonus and excellent benefitsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
