This individual will play a key role in overseeing corporate accounting, financial reporting, and tax reporting, with exposure to private equity and real estate investments. Working closely with the CFO of a well-known international commercial real estate brand, this is an exciting leadership opportunity with potential for growth.This role is available due to an upcoming retirement.ResponsibilitiesOversee accounting, reporting, and tax filings for corporate entities and real estate/private equity investmentsPrepare corporate budgets and manage quarterly lender reportingManage corporate cash flow, invoicing, receivables, and owner distributionsOversee payroll, 401k, and worker compensation auditsAssist with tax planning and estimates for ownershipEnsure compliance with treasury activities and internal controlsSupervise audits for corporate entities and investment fundsSupport capital planning and structuring of acquisitions and joint venturesPrepare reports and analyze industry trendsWhat we’re looking forBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldCPA designation with a mix of public and private experience10+ years of senior level accounting experience within the real estate industryA strong background in REITs, open-ended funds, and private fund structuresKnowledge of tax reporting and compliance for private REITs, partnerships, S-Corps, and K-1sThere are no costs for candidates utilizing our services as our clients pay for all related hiring fees.
