Our brands include ACV Auctions, ACV Transportation, ClearCar, MAX Digital, ACV Capital, True360 and Data Services.At ACV we focus on the Health, Physical, Financial, Social and Emotional Wellness of our Teammates and offer benefits listed below.What you will doActively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Partner with a Territory Manager and a team of Inspectors to conduct inspections of vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease to detect damage, missing parts and mechanical problems.Prepare and submit a report of vehicle condition, repair/replacement cost estimates, and related documentation.Help sales team up-sell or cross-sell services and terface regularly with dealers to develop and ensure client satisfaction and build strong relationships.Travel to and from dealerships and homes to inspect and write condition reports, and list vehicles to sell on the auction platform.Take multiple photos, match them to a vehicle, and upload them to the image server using the company-issued smartphone.List inspected wholesale vehicles on ACV Auctions platform for bidding and purchasing.Sign up independent dealerships as buyers to utilize ACV Auctions digital platform.Perform additional duties as assigned.What you will need1 year of experience in the automobile field (body, paint and mechanical repair knowledge) with customer service backgroundAbility to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to work outside in the elements for extended periodsProblem solving aptitude to meet challenges with resourcefulness and innovative approachesProven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating in a teamExcellent communication skills to understand customer needs and expectationsValid driver’s license and a registered and insured motor vehicleKnowledge of system capabilities, required software packages, and web-based applicationsAbility to perform manual labor such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to or more than 25 lbs, bending, and squattingAbility to drive a manual and automatic transmissionVision abilities required to identify small defects around and underneath vehiclesCompensation$23.50 - $25.50 per hour. This position is eligible for additional compensation pursuant to ACV’s incentive compensation plan.
