OverviewEquipment & Tool Engineer – Auburn, WA. This is a full-time, contract position with a duration of 12+ months.ResponsibilitiesEquipment development, implementation, and improvement; review electrical schematics, control panel designs, and troubleshoot technical issues.Project management, testing, and commissioning of automated system acquisition and modification projects.Evaluate program and project requirements; develop complex equipment concepts and design solutions for the Production pile and analyze technical data to determine effects on product engineering design, usability, and rate estimates.Ensure compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors, and regulatory requirements.Develop and release bid and purchase specifications for equipment needs from suppliers.Troubleshoot current production issues related to quality, safety, and repeatability.Develop and implement work-arounds and maintain configuration of hardware and documentation.Perform studies and make recommendations for disposition of assets.QualificationsBachelor’s degree required.Electrical Engineering degree preferred.2+ years of project management experience supporting complex technical projects, evaluating/selecting equipment solutions, and assessing electrical system requirements.1+ years of experience with programming languages such as Java and SQL.1+ years of experience working to industry standards related to electrical system design.Experience in automation and robotics.Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment; strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.Pay, Benefits & How to ApplyPay Range: Between $55 Per Hour - $60 Per Hour.
