Join us for the chance to leverage your inherent curiosity and proven capabilities to catapult you to the next level.The Vice President, Healthcare is responsible for the development and execution of a business plan, building a team, operational oversight and client satisfaction within that sector for the Southeast.ResponsibilitiesOverall:Work with Operations leadership team to set the business direction and strategy for the Healthcare sectorLeverage relationships to win projectsLeverage relationships to recruit qualified staffOversee execution of goals as outlined in the group’s business planServe as Mid Atlantic Healthcare expert; share market knowledge with leadership. Ensure corporate vision and strategies are cascaded to the healthcare teamWork Acquisition and Client Management:Lead work acquisition pursuitsIdentify and cultivate new client relationships; develop relationships with, and have the pulse of, existing clientsDirect the strategy and content of proposals and/or presentationsRecommend general conditions and fees to the General ManagerEnsure client satisfactionActively participate in industry events and associationsResponsible for maintenance of client and project information in CRM databaseSector P&L Management:Review and analyze weekly financial reports on projects; provide guidance and direction to individual project leadersEnsure appropriate financial projections for each project and implement strategies to achieve goalsNOI forecasting and maintenance projectionsRevenue and income commitmentsCommercial sector G&A planning and managementRisk managementCash flowContracts to prescribed limitsCoordination of legal mattersDevelopment of People:Recruit key staffEvaluate team performance and provide directionBuild future leaders through mentoringSupport training and curriculum development and planningPreconstruction:Oversee preconstruction efforts on all sector projectsConstruction Operations:Ensure sector projects are set up for successEnsure all construction activities are consistent with Suffolk’s Standard Operating ProceduresConduct weekly meetings with project teams to review job progressReview schedule updates and participate in monthly meetingReview monthly KPIs, evaluate trends and drive improvementEnsure performance corrections are implemented to achieve client satisfactionQualificationsQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree.10-15 years of experience with healthcare facility constructionA deep understanding of the business of healthcare clients.Excellent client relationships.Demonstrated leadership skills, highly positive outlook, flexible, team building experience.Necessary Attributes:Must possess Suffolk’s Core Values: Passion, Integrity, Hard Work and ProfessionalismEnergetic, enthusiastic self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detail.Outstanding team player with excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Working ConditionsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand, and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing.
