The summer analyst program provides an excellent opportunity for senior-level banker and client exposure and higher, immediate “hands-on” experience. The program is designed to provide broad experience across all stages of transaction executions, from pitch phase through closing. Because our Summer Analyst Program is a direct pipeline for our full-time Analyst positions, it offers exceptional potential for you to return to KBCM upon graduation to start your capital markets career. **Job duties may include:** **Required Qualifications:** Strong quantitative and critical thinking abilities Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activities Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Our Public Finance Group professionals advise, structure and execute financings for governmental issuers, non-profit entities (including those in the healthcare, development finance and higher education sectors, among others) and corporate, tax-exempt borrowers to deliver strategic solutions that help clients achieve their financial goals. The Public Finance Group operates out of thirteen regional offices across the country and has underwritten more than $65 billion in municipal bonds since 2015, with individual issues ranging from $250,000 to over $1 billion . This position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $24 to $29 per hour depending on coverage group. Summer Analysts in this position are eligible for overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 hours in a week, or in accordance with applicable law.
