This role requires expertise in front-end and back-end software engineering, modern JavaScript frameworks, microservices, cloud-based deployment (AWS), and database integration. The ideal candidate will contribute across the full software development lifecycle—from design through deployment—delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality custom solutions in a cloud-first environment.Primary Responsibilities:Design, develop, and test custom software solutions spanning multiple applications and services.Translate functional and system-level requirements into detailed technical designs and implementations.Develop and maintain applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and back-end service architectures.Support and participate in code reviews, integration testing, regression testing, and 508 compliance testing.Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver iterative capabilities and deploy enhancements.Build and consume RESTful APIs for integration across microservices and third-party systems.Leverage AWS services to support cloud-native development, including serverless computing.Manage relational and non-relational databases, utilizing both SQL and NoSQL technologies.Ensure maintainability and scalability through clean coding, documentation, and peer collaboration.Minimum Qualifications:Demonstrated experience with:Modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular)Microservice architecture and design principlesCloud platform development, particularly AWSRESTful API development and integrationSQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB)Experience supporting Agile software delivery in secure, high-availability environmentsAbility to work full-time on-site in Tysons, VAActive TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) is required at the time of applicationPreferred Qualifications:Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and React QueryPython development experience for back-end or scripting tasksHands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and API GatewayFamiliarity with accessibility/508 compliance standards and testingExperience with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, and infrastructure as codeExposure to business process automation tools (e.g., Camunda, Flowable, N8n.io)Strong background working within Agile methodologies and frameworksEligibility:Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the futureActive TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) clearance is required for this roleSalary:Salary for this position is determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific budget considerations.Proposed Salary Range:$205,000 – $225,000Benefits:Our client offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including:100% Company-Paid Health Insurance:Full coverage for medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their dependents (United Healthcare and Guardian)Protection Plans:Employer-paid life, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance401(k) Retirement Contribution:15% of base salary contributed by the company, fully vested from day onePaid Time Off:200 hours of PTO annually (accrued), in addition to 11 federal holidaysBonuses:Recruitment and business development bonus opportunities based on performance and company growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
