We develop new products and services for clients, build relationships with third-party asset management partners, maintain a healthy client offering, and work effectively with outside firms to create a positive client experience.You will have the opportunity to drive and build strategic relationships between Schwab and important third party asset managers who provide investment solutions to Schwab’s clients. You will use a strategic approach to align relationships with platform strategy, while coordinating efforts across numerous internal and external stakeholders.Drive projects that include product development and project management on a 3rd Party Asset Manager PlatformDevelop, implement, and negotiate a strategic approach to third-party asset managers, based on a shared commitment to mutual goals and alignment with broader team strategyLeverage data and information resources to develop management reporting, narratives, diagnose issues, and drive conversationsIdentify opportunities to engage asset managers on a strategic level to support our firm objectives and engage colleagues from across the organization as neededIdentify key partners to engage in value-add meetings, set the agenda, prepare presentation materials, and follow up on implementation in a timely mannerCollaborate with colleagues and asset managers to manage executive exposure, while ensuring executives are effectively prepared for all interactions with the asset management firmsAssist in development of processes that support the mandate of the team, including documentation of interactions in Salesforce, robust communication protocols among internal stakeholders and senior leadership, adherence to company policies and procedures, and overall risk mitigation.What you haveRequired Qualifications:7+ years of investment product management or strategy consulting experience7+ years of Mutual Fund and ETF experience, with an understanding of both micro and macro dynamics at play in the industryDemonstrated ability to build and execute a strategic roadmap and business plan for commercial partnershipsInvestment product management or project management experienceProven ability to build trusted relationships and motivate teams, both internally and externally, in pursuit of shared objectivesHighly organized and detail oriented; strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize our most critical activities and drive toward timely completionSelf-motivated, with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to work through ambiguity or challengesRobust communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability to develop materials and effectively present to and persuade audiencesCuriosity and passion for being on the leading edge in a changing financial services environmentProficient at Powerpoint, Excel, and SalesforceBA/BS degreePreferred Qualifications:Proficient with database and data visualization toolsExperience with industry data sources such as Morningstar, FactSet, BloombergMBA or Masters in a quantitative fieldIn addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
