OverviewWe are seeking an accomplished Managing Director to lead a premier luxury waterfront property. With 200+ spacious guest rooms, more than 20,000 square feet of elegant meeting and event space, multiple food and beverage outlets, and a full suite of amenities, this setting provides the perfect stage for a dynamic leader.The Managing Director role is multi-faceted, requiring vision, strategic execution, and operational expertise. You will oversee all aspects of the property, from financial performance and guest satisfaction to staff development and community engagement. The position is dedicated to maintaining the highest levels of service while advancing the property’s reputation as a standout destination in the luxury market.Base pay range$300,000.00/yr - $320,000.00/yrDirect message the job poster from ASAP AssociatesRequirement: Deep knowledge of the Boston travel and tourism market strongly preferred.ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipServe as a key partner to ownership and asset managers, maintaining consistent communication and collaboration.Develop and execute long-term strategies that enhance growth, profitability, and market positioning.Monitor trends and competitive landscape to make informed business decisions.Build strong partnerships within the community.Recruit, mentor, and support a diverse team of leaders and staff.Foster a collaborative culture built on motivation, accountability, and professional growth.Ensure performance standards align with a service philosophy of “beyond expectations.”Operations ManagementOversee all departments, including sales, rooms, food and beverage, banquets, engineering, and housekeeping.Ensure smooth daily operations and consistent service quality.Implement efficient processes and continuous improvements across all areas.Develop and manage budgets, allocating resources effectively.Analyze financial performance, address variances, and implement corrective actions.Maximize revenue opportunities through pricing strategies, upselling, and innovative offerings.Guest ExperienceLead a guest-centric culture focused on personalized service and memorable experiences.Respond promptly to guest feedback and drive initiatives to increase satisfaction and loyalty.Facilities ManagementProtect and enhance physical assets including rooms, amenities, and public areas.Drive sustainability efforts to reduce environmental impact.Regulatory ComplianceMaintain compliance with all hospitality industry regulations.Ensure health and safety standards are consistently met.QualificationsProven leadership experience as a General Manager or Managing Director in a luxury or upper-upscale hotel/resort (4 or 5 Diamond preferred).10+ years of progressive leadership with strong career trajectory and stability in full-service luxury properties.Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, or equivalent education and experience.Demonstrated success in sales and revenue growth, with strong Food & Beverage expertise.Excellent owner relations, presentation, and communication skills.Deep knowledge of the Boston travel and tourism market strongly preferred.Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.About us:ASAP Associates is New England's oldest and most established name in hospitality recruitment and consulting.
