Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$95,000.00/yr - $102,000.00/yrJob OverviewOur client is seeking an experienced Area Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and supervise Radiologic Technologists and/or Sonographers in the Bay Area. The role involves managing schedules, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high-quality standards in the mobile radiology field. The ideal candidate will have experience in the mobile field, a supervisory background, and valid certifications. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and the willingness to travel are essential for success in this role.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and implement staffing schedules within the designated region.Monitor performance and forecast service needs, ensuring effective personnel management and departmental P&L oversight.Ensure compliance with state regulations and laws regarding radiology teract directly with clinical staff to monitor and perform radiology studies as needed.Conduct staff evaluations and provide recommendations to management.Serve as the communication liaison between management and technologists.Order supplies, equipment, and oversee equipment repairs for the region.Orient new employees to company policies and procedures.Assist technologists in solving technical issues and troubleshooting.Address performance concerns and implement corrective actions through coaching and counseling.Review technologist payroll to ensure productivity and efficient resource management.Develop and implement strategies that align with company requirements.Perform X-rays/Ultrasounds when necessary.Schedule and manage fleet maintenance for vehicles and equipment.Retain and monitor dosimetry reports in Radiology.Oversee the clinical credentialing, training, and service quality of technologists.Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.QualificationsRequired Experience:1+ years of experience with Meditech RAD (Radiology).2+ years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.2+ years of experience in field work, preferably in mobile radiology.Required Certifications:Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.Valid Driver's License (DL).Vaccination: Must be up-to-date with the Covid-19 vaccination.Schedule And Shift DetailsMonday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (may vary).Must be in San Leandro 2x per week.Travel RequirementsUp to 50% travel within the service area.Please submit your resume for consideration.
