The Senior Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) reports to the President & Chief Executive Officer and is a key member of the Leadership Team. In this role, the CSO is responsible for creating and successfully implementing the Company’s strategic vision. Through a deep understanding of market trends and client behavior, the CSO also develops and implements a comprehensive growth strategy that considers the entire organization, harmonizing with the Company’s long-term vision and goals. The CSO’s leadership cultivates a culture of collaboration, innovation, and agility, enabling the organization to adapt and thrive in competitive environments.REPORTS TO: President & Chief Executive OfficerTRAVEL: LimitedKEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement long-term strategic plans and goals for the Company.Drive cross-functional collaboration to eliminate silos and share relevant insights that will drive growth. Provide cross-department insights into growth and market trends to the Executive Team.Develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies to increase the company’s market share and profitability, including plans to achieve the strategy through organic growth as well as M&A and strategic investments.Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competition to develop growth strategy.Foster partnerships and relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and industry leaders, to drive business growth.Manage the company’s budget related to strategy and growth initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximization of return on investment.Spearhead the company’s entry into new markets, including conducting feasibility studies, regulatory compliance, and establishing local operations.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSA bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.Extensive experience in creating business strategies and successful execution, preferably in the defense and national security industries.Demonstrated experience and understanding of U.S. Government procurement.Extensive experience in business development, sales, marketing, and technology development with a track record of driving growth and revenue.Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.Excellent strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement growth strategies based on market trends and customer insights.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate growth plans and progress to a variety of stakeholders.Experience working with budgets and resources and the ability to manage and allocate resources to support strategic initiatives effectively.A customer-focused mindset, with a strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to develop solutions that meet those needs.The ability to work effectively under pressure and collaborate with other executives and departments to ensure that growth strategies are aligned with overall business goals and objectives.Get notified about new Chief Strategy Officer jobs in Washington DC-Baltimore Area. #J-18808-Ljbffr
