If you are a child care champion, we want you on our team.Position SummaryChildren’s Council is looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic senior level manager. This professional’s primary focus will be interpreting and analyzing data from a variety of sources to create dashboards, reports, extract trends, and turn data into information. They will define and manage data content and quality to ensure that the data collected and maintained meets our organization’s needs. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-orientated, and has a can-do attitude. The Senior Data Manager will report to the Chief Technology Officer.Primary ResponsibilitiesTakes strategic management role over data across the organization, champions data to key stakeholdersAssist CTO with implementation of Data StrategyResponsible for creation, management, training, and administration of the data warehouseCreates and maintains integrations between the organization’s data warehouse and external REST APIs by utilizing platforms such as Azure Data Factory and CloudingoManage and enhance integrations that transfer data directly into Salesforce utilizing ETL processes from the organization’s data warehouse, SQL databases and form tools such as FormAssemblyUtilize tools such as Cloudingo and Salesforce’s built-in duplicate management features to minimize the number of duplicate Salesforce contacts and related accountsWork closely with other internal data team staff to clean and transfer historical data from spreadsheets into Salesforce using tools such as Dataloader, Cloudingo and the Salesforce Data Import WizardServe as administrator and technical resource for Account Engagement, the organization’s email marketing toolSupervise the organization’s Web/Database Administrator position and manage related workEstablishes requirements and assesses the quality of the data in our current databasesAssisting in the maintenance and creation of a data catalog and data mapCreates and implements data standards, policies, procedures, and business rulesInterprets data, analyzes results using statistical techniques and provides ongoing reports from a variety of sources to create dashboards and other presentation materials and tools for key constituentsDevelops and implements databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and qualityAcquire data from primary and/or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systemsFilters and cleans data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct issuesServe as the organization’s Salesforce Administrator to include management of the Salesforce database and configuration. Will also work directly with any identified Salesforce consultantsProvides training and technical assistance with the design and management of collecting and reporting data (surveys). Also creates standards and procedures on how we create and conduct surveysIndependently analyze and summarize findings and present data in formats such as excel pivots, PowerPoint, reports, dashboards, grids, and tables along with any suggestions or recommendationsOther data related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications3-5 years of hands-on experience involving quantitative data analysis and complex problem solvingBachelor’s in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related fieldMust be organized and extremely detail-orientedExcellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skillsTechnical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniquesDemonstrated ability to analyze statistical data and to present findings clearly and concisely in verbal, written and graphic formStrong knowledge and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL etc.), ETLStrong knowledge of SQL is a mustData Warehouse experience (particularly Azure/Azure Data Factory)Salesforce Administration and Configuration experiencePhysical RequirementsAbility to sit at a desk for extended amounts of timeAbility to stand for extended amounts of timeManual dexterity to use office equipment; the ability to sit and work at a desk for extended periods of timePhysical agility to lift and carry materials, bend, stoop, and reach overheadBackground CheckAll offers of employment are contingent upon successfully completing this process.Hybrid WorkWe have adopted a hybrid working model and currently require employees to be present in the office at least 3 days per week, with the option to work 2 days per week remotely.
